Golfing, Swing for the stars

Silly little name for this bit. As you can see in the vid, there are 8 frames per animation. The one on the right is the First attempt, clearly needed work. The one on the left (attempt 2) is still in need of attention, but the test(s) were strictly to see how the raw sketches moved and turned out. The nit-picking clean-up stuff will happen when I start coloring.

For my first actual attempt, it didn't turn out too badly. All frames were drawn on a single page. I found a set of pics similar to this showing how a golfer should swing, from this same angle. So I used that for reference and based things on that montage of position pics.

I was HOPING to use video of my late dad at a driving range, to model the character after Dad. But couldn't find that old clip. It wasn't from the back, but I really wanted to base this unnamed character on him. He used to golf a fair bit with his younger brother, also deceased, and an unnamed character like him will be in this shot too. Though not animated.

Anyway, this is for Sequence 37a, of that new music video thing I'm not wholly committed to yet. I'm still planning things out, and if I can learn some new software, maybe I'll commit sooner than later.
Not backgrounds for my friend, this is a personal project, like the previous music vids I've done, whilst she takes a break. Everyone needs a break sometimes after all. lol
